Shopping trip to Tesco done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. 204 out, 38 back.

High, hazy cloud is gradually thickening, so it’s expected to be more cloudy than sunny today. It’s 15°C with an expected high of 25° this afternoon, and the barometers are up a tad more at 1017/1025mB

Feeling very tired again today. If the surgery don’t get in touch, I think I’m just going to stop taking this stuff anyway. They virtually admitted when they prescribed it that it wasn’t really needed, but argued that it might help some number go a little bit further in the direction it’s “supposed” to go, even though it’s perfectly fine where it is

Casting around for something to watch this evening, I remembered that Air Crash Investigation is on Prime (albeit under a different title) so I watched the episode about USAir Flight 1493 which landed on top of SkyWest Airlines Flight 5569 at LA International in 1991, due to a moment of forgetfulness on the part of an overworked flight controller

I’ve been feeling extremely under the weather today, again. I thought it might be hay fever, but apparently the pollen count is very low at the moment. And that made me realise: two weeks ago, I started feeling really tired all the time, getting headaches, and other symptoms. Also, while I do get hay fever, it’s never been anywhere close to as bad as what’s been happening during the past two weeks. And what do you know: two weeks ago, they started me on an additional cholesterol-lowering drug! And it turns out that the list of “possible adverse effects” includes tiredness, headaches, and the like

I filled in the online form on the surgery website saying I wanted to discuss possible side effects of medication with a doctor or pharmacist, but I haven’t heard back yet. I hope it isn’t one of those that goes into the bitbucket; you can never be quite sure when or if you’ll get a response to those forms. If I haven’t heard from them by tomorrow lunchtime, I’ll have to give them a call
