Ok.. Loan charge was made illegal in 2017.
But most of the users were defrauded by AML and Vanquish and SP management and what not.
How contractors are going to recover the money from them?
    Any ideas?
Is anyone who is stung by loan charge planning class action like suit against AML etc?

I guess that according to current legislation they’ve done nothing illegal, the onus is on contractors to get this stuff right.

The salesmen and agencies who knowingly push contractors into these schemes for a fat commission should be the easiest targets for fines and sanctions IMO.

I love how on that page, there are quotes by HMRC saying how they issue market wide guidance on dodgy schemes. Seriously, how often does anyone here see unsolicited publicity direct from HMRC to stay away from dodgy schemes?

I just missed an update of the 21st March regarding Olympus Contracting Ltd.

Details of persons suspected of promoting the scheme, or of being a connected person:
Olympus Contracting Limited / Jordan Dobney – former director of Olympus Contracting Limited / Oliver Ames – sole director of Olympus Contracting Limited

They are on the Stop Notice List.

I think if anyone could send him any information on the other related schemes as well that may prove useful: Elite Management, ComtractorCare and PAYEME.
