New builds seem to get silly money.
there's a new 4 bed semi down the road from me £425,000
, if you don't mind the Knotweed it was built on.

4 bedroom bungalow for sale in Love Lane, Hollywood, Birmingham, B47
That new build was utter rip off naff crap.

But that's the great thing about having such a large plot of land.Originally posted by AtW View PostHarbourne, Edgbaston and Mosely are good areas in Brum, everything else is a bit dodgy ...

It's a nice area that as well. I used to work in Wythall just down the road.

No catch.Originally posted by d000hg View PostLooks quite nice - what's the catch Sas? It's not like you to be helpful.
.
If my budget was about £500K in Brum, that's the sort of thing I would be looking at, with a view to changing/extended it to my taste as and when I wanted.
The large flat garden and secluded location allows for that.
Allow say £250K for building and expansion costs and you could transform it into a > 1 million house quite easily.Last edited by sasguru; 31 March 2014, 14:21.

For £500k outside town, and not in the south, you'd damn well hope for something very nice though. That's serious money if you're not in a property hotspot.
