I don't watch terrestrial TV in my lodgings during the week, but caught the BBC news at the weekend.
The time devoted to this story was utterly absurd, almost (well, completely I think) to the exclusion of anything else happening in the World, for at least 20 minutes until I turned over.
I guess some news bod had been hurried up there to be "on the scene", and this idiot was just standing there waffling on about absolutely nothing, as he obviously knew absolutely nothing (about developments in the case). It seemed as if he was literally spinning out his sentences, slowing his speech and using phrases like "time period" instead of "time" to fill the slot.
