If it is the two people suggested, it also reflects badly on Cameron: he was planning to appoint somebody else, but allowed the red-headed vixen to pretty much order him to give the job to Coulson if he wanted News International to stay on side.
That can be seen as just the kind of grubby deal that politicians of any party have to do, but if it turns out she was actually manipulating him to get her bit on the side a cushy number, it makes Cameron look like a complete sucker who let himself be played for a fool. Not a good look for a Prime Minister

It seems that News international have some interesting promotion processes.
Shall we leave this story at that.

If it was a super injunction, then they wouldn't even be allowed to report that they are not allowed to report something.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostPresumably there is a super injunction. It is all very silly because it will be public soon enough.
If it is those two people involved, then probably a simple case of sub judice - they have been charged with an offence and are awaiting trial - that alone prevents a lot of reporting.

Clegg and Cameron because they've been 'doing **** All' when they were told to 'do Bugger All'

If that is indeed the result, then better for Cam and the country. Coulson is a dangerous liability and a twat to boot.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostAll that would mean, if so, is that Cameron would presumably find it hard to bring Coulson back into the fold to help plan the next election.

Coulson also used to work for NI, and in fact succeeded RB as editor of NOTW in 2003.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostIf that is indeed a hint, with any substance, I would guess "ac" stands for Andy Coulson, former Downing Street spin doctor, and "rb" for Rebekah Brooks, of News International.

I think has all been planned by the BBC to "bury" the fact that Matt Smith is leaving Dr Who!
