    I have a gdoc I add ideas to. Most are rather dull and probably feasible, in many cases so feasible they already existed or have since been done.

    But in terms of zany...

    An automatic 'fly zapper' which uses image recognition/tracking to locate flies and then zap them.

    Sadly I can't remember how the zapping was going to work, but I definitely remember having a solution. It would be a bit like that wonderful popcorn cannon which fired popcorn into your mouth when you said 'pop'.

    I had a similar idea for a social networking site for alcoholics, uploading pics of themselves in various stages of inebriation.

    I was going to call it OffYourFace Book.

    It'd be better to provide a live rail on the motorway. Then there's no need to recharge the batteries; you just run off the mains whilst on the motorway.
