I have a gdoc I add ideas to. Most are rather dull and probably feasible, in many cases so feasible they already existed or have since been done.
But in terms of zany...
An automatic 'fly zapper' which uses image recognition/tracking to locate flies and then zap them.
Sadly I can't remember how the zapping was going to work, but I definitely remember having a solution. It would be a bit like that wonderful popcorn cannon which fired popcorn into your mouth when you said 'pop'.

I had an idea around 2002-2004 to start a site where people could upload some pictures that no one really cared about, write useless tulip about being hungry and wine-O-clock and you could lose the ability to speak to your friends and instead like stuff and put stupid comments on, usually in Chav speak. Thought about calling it FaceMagazine or something.
