Even if there is a contract, the key thing is that for the contract to be binding all parties have to be of sound mind.

In law you cannot consent to harm (this is to protect Husband/wife battering victims)

The grey is that If police are involved in a case like this then common sense is normally applied, with consenting & sensible adults as long as there is no lasting harm (lasting harm can be a bruise that lasts for more than 20 mins) nothing will be charged.
