I get your point; my view is if you use it, pay for it. If you want it, fork out the cash or have a reality check. My hard earned money is just that, mine. I'm all for helping those genuinely in need, not those who make themselves in need. If tomorrow I end up in a wheelchair because I didn't look right crossing the road I'd blame no one but my sorry self. More responsibly and accountability needed in this day and age.

    I know, hence the recommendation.

That's pretty much happened already here, it seems. In Durham I can think of 1 or maybe 2 newsagents, then we have a Sainsbury Local and a Tesco Metro on the far sides of the city with a big Tesco and M&S store in the very centre of the city. Although to be honest having a proper supermarket in the town centre is quite nice.

I've been saying for years, women should only be allowed benefits if they have a long acting contraceptive (coil/implant) fitted. It's immoral to bring a kid into the world if you have no means to support that kid.

It won't ever happen though but something must change before the bubble bursts.

was like that down sarf 30 years ago.

Its interesting to look at the school photo's over the years until the last 5 years they gradually had more dark faces, now they are going lighter again but they all speak Polish..

But this is the Berkshire school cricket event, should give you an idea.

IN Scotland it only has really changed in the last 6 or 7 years but is really noticeable now.

I got on a late night bus a few months ago at half one in the morning, everyone bar me and the driver was african, like 30 people, could not work out why. Now when I was young that bus would have been filled with drunk white folk.

I thought that it might be dish washers going home, mate figured it was care home staff.

no just the one near an airport.

scarily when my two were born a decade ago it was similar but not so bad, some could speak english, one of the two white women was French though.

recent trips have been as recounted above, croydon one was totally African.
