    Clowns!

Scary clown porn party. Steven King "IT" party!

Assuming its a professionalish affair we had someone doing this free at one company do, very pleasant and you walked away with a memento.

    Silhouettes

Go cart race / dodgems you can hire both.

    Mini casino is great fun.

Photo booth, get them lagered up and silly

Hog roast & get some decent beer in, there are a number of micro breweries that might do you a bar.

themed food, plenty of great chefs that can do something fantastic.

    good waiting staff, always key.

    what size 100, 1000, 10 000?

The Christmas party tent do's normally have some great ideas.

    1. Hire out some professional Gurners.

    2. Foam Party - a la Ibiza nightclub. Not reallty thought it through much, but the idea sounds good.

    3. On entrance, all the women get one playing card out of set #1, and all the blokes get a card from set #2. Later on .... Swing time

Also, the old favourites like Naked Twister go down a treat...

Mayn years ago we used to have big parties and one of them involved jelly. People went down to the local supermarkets and nicked as many packets of jelly as they could, meanwhile one room was wallpapered in plastic sheeting. This room was then filled with the jelly and chaos ensued...The first time we did this was in a first floor flat and ended up really really messy. For drinkies we used to half fill the bath with ice and then place all the bottles of booze in it and people helped themselves. Whatever you do don't have a party if there is a drive on lawnmower and a swimming pool available (and a half naked women with larger than average mammary glands!)

I'm adding to my initial idea by introducing buckets of margaritas and a pinata full of condoms.

Proper food is a good idea, and a proper bar with a barman who won't serve drunken idiots. Cocktails are slow to make so you need a lot of staff, maybe even people going round taking orders?

if its a classy party then why would anyone then get into a hot tub?

a doorman giving everyone who arrives a glass of champagne, sparkling cider for the kids
    decent food, hog roast?
    casino corner
magician wandering through the crowd during close up tricks is a good ice breaker
live music - hiring a known band is always possible if money's no object

Lots of people. Certainly classy is the intention to start with.....how it pans out, well, that depends how successful it is .
