I took the first 2 exams of the 12 I need to pass for my current degree course (Bachelors in Divinity - I take my godlike status seriously) in May. Got a 2i in both. Quite pleased considering my first degree is Maths and Computing, and I last wrote an essay (with a pen at that) 27 years ago.

Why pick divinity though? Obviously I am delighted you did - but it is an unusual choice.

I wanted to do something completely different. Divinity covers the modern world, history, theology, philosophy and languages (Hebrew and Greek). It's through the University of London (distance learning), so is reasonably academically respectable.

I failed the practical. Rather than turn water into wine I thought I'd go contempory and turned water into WKD instead.

Is that some form of urea?

Picking a decent dissertation topic can be a mare. Ideally you would be thinking about possibilities from the beginning of the course.
