Yes, it was only agreed to as the wife had put up a Mexican standoff with the goods she has that I want, but normally even these are taken between contracts.

    I feel tulipe too, achy all over, sore throat, absolutely no energy, can't think straight and it's defintely not man flu.

    Keep billing and carry on, it's in the rules, and you'll be less of a contractor if you take the time off.

    The t&c's don't say that at all. What they do say is that a contractor should never admit to or give the impression of being sick


    On a slightly related note, a few years back I felt like I had a really bad chest cough and phoned the client to tell them I wouldn't be in that day but would definitely be in the day after.
    About 30 minutes later my wife was calling an ambulance for me
