I don't know what you mean about the spelling

Is it aimed at beating us up? I do think they are over-reacting in terms of the numbers of people and the length of service, they do not appreciate that some projects may last a couple of years and that contractors are still required to complete these projects to prevent the burden of over-staffing once these projects are completed. It is the usual headline grabbing stats that are pushed out without any thought or understanding behind them. We all know HMR&C have some pretty complex IT projects and taking on contractors is the most sensible way of getting them done without leaving them with the burden of redundancies etc. Is it right that high level, long term workers use the same route to minimise tax? IMO probably not.

I meant an attack on LTD companies and avoiding tax and the like. Whipping up public opinion etc.
