I have but I am capable of investigating them and sorting most of them out without proving that I cannot think my way out of a paperbag and embarrasing myself in front of complete strangers on a public forum who are already a very unsympathetic ear. I don't mean just me. Check your rep level now.
This is the relevant forum. Look at the title of it. General is the perfect area for this level of discussion. I actually found the thread quite amusing as it happens having been in similar situations in the past.
Coming in to their play place and call them kids will go down well
Hang on now. A previous poster called you an arsehole but you dont comment on that but have a go at me for callling people kids.
There are other internet forums on the web covering financial affairs and consumer problems i.e. fool.co.uk, moneysavingexpert.com, consumeractiongroup.co.uk it may be worth joining them so say you had a banking or insurance problem you would actually get people in the relevant industry answering your questions.
If everybody starts posting stuff in relevant forums, General will be almost deserted: nothing but MF, rocking back and forth in the corner, occasionally mumbling "Do you know how long I've been on this board?" to the emptiness

Great stuff, please don't forget to post your next moronic mistake on the boards so we can be further entertained and enthralled with your inability to cope by yourself in the real world...
By the way... have you met Wilmslow?.. He is single you know....
Aww, you must be so happy this was moved to General, enabling you to be an unrestrained arsehole.
Thing is your problems are either:
1. Very common and a quick search on this site would reveal another answer posted with in the past 12 months
2. Very common and a quick search/post on the right internet site would give you the answer without getting rude/sarcastic replies

For this post, I made a mistake, was interested in opinions and got provided some good info to help me sort the problem out.
I dont see the problem?

No need to as most electronic transfers in the UK are to people in the UK.
On the various banks I with websites they do tell you where to find your IBAN if needed i.e. on your bank statement. Though they don't happily tell you the cost of transactions to the EU/EEA without hunting for it on some obscure part of their site or ring them up.
Yeh. I've got both Euro and Sterling accounts. Costs me 8E to recieve into Euro account, and 29E if I want to send money.
Using sort codes and account numbers. How quaint. When will the UK catch up and start publicising IBAN a little more?
