Bol is very nice except it rained when I was there
(Real) lemon juice in a cup or smeared over the table keeps them away. I've been rubbing it in my hair this week as it not only keeps them away but makes your hair look like you've spent weeks surfing in some exotic place...(gay, I know)

Tried similar thing with crows, a black wooly that hat is supposed to look like a dead crow. It does work for a bit but being quite intelligent they soon see through it. It would be same with wasps, they have massive IQs.
When you get 1 wasp do you squash it? I've heard doing that releases chemicals which attracts its friends to come and seek revenge
Definitely the case for hornets. Not sure about wasps. But hornets are less aggressive than wasps, unless you really upset them, so best left alone. Those electric fly swatters are good for dealing with wasps.
You probably have a nest somewhere near your roof, or in your roof. We have had this twice - had to call out an exterminator which can cost anywhere from £30 to £70. Did the job quicktime though.
What is wrong with you? You shouldn't get rid of wasps, they are fantastic little creatures! Coming up to that favourite time where I can put jam out for them all over the garden.
