    Depending which part of the Thames river you live nearish to some of the water would have gone through the digestive systems of 7 other humans before you get to consume it.*

    Though there are two water companies who supply small parts of Greater London ( on the outskirts) who get water from different sources like boreholes.

    BTW you aren't safe if you are in parts of the Thames Valley either as Thames Water supplies them.
