OK, so what about a "vote off" button next to each image, so that if (say) three posters thought it was unacceptable and pressed the button, the image would no longer be shown except to mods (and posting rights of the post author suspended until the image had been investigated by the mods) ?

That won't lead to vicious attempts by feuding members to get each other temporarily suspended at all...

Being able to report images is sensible, but then you can already report individual posts anyway.

Making it work-friendly would be sensible; like having to login to see pictures.

As I pointed out at the beginning of the thread. The issue was with all the C R A P being posted in the infamous Test Please Delete thread.

I think it's a valid point though Nick. 99% of us aren't going to abuse it. But I dont think you could be trusted with your Fortune Green 'alter egos'.

Anyway, there are millions of forums that allow images, I do not see why this one cannot deal with it.

I agree. Any forum which has active moderators can cope with this. CUK has moderators online frequently and a tiny number of posts compared to other forums which manage just fine.

Oh this is the last bloody straw Nick! Every day I read these posts to find more and more obscure txt language. ROFL, HTH, WHS etc etc, which I have to keep looking up.

But WBGGS. What the hell does WBGGS mean? It's not even a proper bloody shortening. By Txt Dictionary http://www.lingo2word.com/dictionary.php doesnt even know what it means.
