Your slipping VF, there were an untold number of possible jokes about it being too windy down south, excessive swelling and conditions being being unfit to dive
There was just too much material - an overload of smut trying to be released simultaneously. A release on that scale would have been messy.
I could have asked if there were plans for any saturation diving, or following up with some watersports if time permitted. But I didn't.
Nope, don't know his last name, don't think he was a Scot. Always used to smoke rather large cigars. He was a bit of a body-builder too.
BTW if you like the Xmas markets how about a CUK winter piss up at one? Shouldnt cost much more in time, effort and money than travelling to one in the UK.
Didnt meet a Bill but there was a UK registered orange lotus esprit turbo knocking around. Does Bill have a surname? I share a surname with a Scot named Bill who I seem to be following around EADS germany.

EADS? Ever meet an ex-pat there called "Bill"? He of the "Yellow Ferrari" fame?

Who's her Divemaster? Or is she qualified to lead the dive herself?
Does she prefer her suits wet or dry?
Will she be diving a twin or a single?
I could go on all day with diver related smutty innuendo...
I like German Xmas markets and Ulm had a good one.
There were a few of us Brits at EADS. We did the usual contractors Wednesday night out too.
Did you go to the top of the Church tower? Did you ever spend a night in the crooked hotel? Schiffes Haus I think. That is a wierd experience.
Yep, saw "the Sparrow" from above.
Didn't stay at the crooked hotel.
Didn't visit the "Bread Museum" either!

Well, I was young(er) free and single. There were quite a few of us from Nokia who used to meet up after work and get blootered. The Winter Market was fantastic - apart from being 20 degrees below freezing!
My favourite shop was the "Camel" shop. That and the "Model Railway" shop.

That is another no. It is like we lived in different towns.
Never was good at remembering names of pubs and bars though. There was a good Indian (for Germany) there above the shops opposite the Rathaus.
There didnt seem to be much of an expat community there when I was there either. I didnt go out drinking that much as the wife was accompanying me at the time. Went out for dinner more than drinkies.
I did like the place though. I must go back and visit the local jeweller. He made and sold his own very distinctive watches.
