Hard to find though. My grandad was a butcher and as a kid we got all the A1 stuff, makes me salivate now ! No idea how to pick out the good stuff myself and never had a semi decent steak from the supermarket.

Ignore the supermarkets, their meat is crap anyway. Find a local butcher instead.

Ask him if he knows where the meat comes from ( the farm, not the wholesaler!), what breed it was, how long it's been hung etc. If he can answer these questions you're probably onto a winner.

There's an option when you set up your poll which allows people to pick multiple options - probably to late to edit it now though.

For me its currys/booze/chocolate/steaks (but they have to be REALLY nice)/bread/cheese.
