    I have always been bitten badly and the first is usually on my man sausage. However, since my diabetes has been under control, it happens a lot less.

    I've found that I get bitten much more as I get older, which I associate with some change in skin odour. I used to be very sweaty (sorry for over-sharing) which I think they didn't like.

    My wife and daughter get bitten every day even wearing repellent. I don't wear repellent, but seldom get bitten.
