Boats and planes - no problem! Although I've not experienced a proper mid-Atlantic swell there's still chance yet to 'enjoy' the side effects of that.

The tilting trains are ok but not done too many of them. I find I prefer to sit with my back to the direction of travel if I'm to not get eye strain/headache from staring out the window.

If I am facing direction of train, the tilting bit doesn't bother me, but if it is the 'wrong direction'...

I scarred myself with coach travel when I was 17 and went to Lloret de Mar to visit my sister, 24 hours on a coach, London to Catalunya, you do daft tulip when you are young and stupid.

Driver only one tape on endless loop: Elton John's Greatest Hits. I still seem to twitch every time I hear Crocodile Rock or Bennie and The Jets.

I don't mind a bus as that's only ever a short trip and the nature of the traffic means there's no chance of getting up to any decent speed that needs to be maintained for a while.

All good responses and yes I can't work out what our esteemed Catapult manipulators are after but they're offering money for innovation so I thought I'd get a handle on that down here

For our train travellers what innovation do you think would make your journey safer and/or calmer where the solution involves regurgitating data in a way that'd it'd actually be useful and/or allows you to interact with the data platform?
Safety and calmness has nothing to do with data and everything to do with (a) trains running on time, (b) trains being clean, (c) idiots, beggars and ne'er do wells not being on them, (d) automated snipers for people who can't listen to their music / have a telephone conversation without sharing with the entire carriage.

The reintroduction of the dining carriage but improved to include a martini bar, would be very welcome.
