Apparently Labour is the only political party that states you cannot be a member of another political party and also be a Labour member.

When this storm in a teacup first blew up I heard people claim to be members of both Reform UK and the Tories. So they share some members.

Though as Reform UK Party Limited is a limited company I suppose you could be a "member" of theirs plus be a Labour party member.

Well making uninformed comments about professional opinions is obviously not doing the research on your part, one of us is at least trying.

Do you not find this situation amusing? Kemi cocked up, Reform will eat her alive.

Surely if it is linked to the payment process its fairly solid?

Who should pay for the audit one wonders?

Well yes, both sides could simply issue audited numbers for a mutually agreed date. Still a storm in a teacup, given the scale of the real issues we are facing. Kemi needs to wind in the aggression and Farage needs to remember he is not a PM in waiting, merely a largely absentee MP in Clacton, else the pair of them are simply going to allow Labour to walk the next election. They need to focus on their common concerns and plans rather than who has the biggest balls (which would be Kemi, it seems...). Everyone really needs to be planning for a hung parliament come the next election, and some sort of coalition would appear to be inevitable.

Its the accusation that Reform have actively falsified membership numbers that is the offence and it is pretty serious.

Farage has commented that many ex Tory party members were contacted as if they were members.

Interesting legal view on Kemi V Nigel

This chap has a number of good videos explaining the legal ramifications of certain situations. Here he suggests Kemi needs to apologise to Nigel.
