I always wanted to name one of my children Nebuchadnezzar. Thought it was a cool name with Matrix undertones. Thankfully I've never had kids.

There were a couple of bishops in the early church named Lucifer.
Re: Lovecraft. My daughter is a primary school teacher. She was marking their work, and asked me "How do you spell Cthulu?". I wasn't expecting that!
I can recommend the The Lovecraft Investigations on BBC Sounds.

I always liked the name Lauralanthalasa, at least it could be shortened for pronunciation
Probably a good job I did not breed

A mother of four has defended her decision to name her son Lucifer, as trolls say it's an abomination.
Ronni Lily, 27, and her partner, Brad, welcomed little Lucifer Ashley on January 20 of this year and reckon it's a 'pretty cool' choice - but not everybody agrees. The Birmingham-based couple decided on the name when Ronni was 16 weeks pregnant, after being inspired by the Netflix series, Lucifer.
