"The Pyramids of Mars (1975)" is showing on BBC4.

Nice to see Sarah Jane Smith again.

With the exception of Space babies this has been a rather good series. Judging by the internet everyone is holding out for the Legend Of Ruby Sunday which is going to throw open lots of questions.

Just started watching the new series on Disney+.

The singing goblin is called Janice. Janice Goblin...

    ow.

Anyway, my daughter who gave up on the whole thing half way through Capaldi, thinks the Christmas episode is the best one she's seen in years.

I have to actually have to work there first, one of my previous employers turnover has gone down by a few billion since I left there, I tell employers that its not all my fault for leaving!

Dixon of Dock Green was rather good.

I have another chance to not watch Doctor Who this evening on BBC3. .

I'd have much preferred Jo Martin as Doctor Who rather than the current incumbent. .

Dixon of Dock Green might have been good, but by the Almighty Zarquon that was crap: the first ep was dreadful, the 2nd ep even more so, to the extent that watching the Skinwalker Ranch nutjobs on Blaze was preferable.

The actors did their jobs, but the stories. WTF?

Reminded me of that fine Disney epic "The Black Hole" of immortal memory.

Looks like I'm done with Doctor Who after a mere 60 years.

The last decent stories were the recent Tennant offerings.

    Hmm...

Watched the first two episodes. Maybe it'll grow on me. All seems a bit too happy clappy at the moment.

Depends if Ncuti is more Tennant than Capaldi. He could be quite fun. Or it could be total mess. No doubt we will soon find out.

But yes, there is much better stuff out there right now. Granite City and Red Eye for example

Watched Episode one at 13 years old (with deeply confused parents and grandfather!), saw every one up to Colin Baker but lost interest about half through his first series, re-awakened interest with Ecclestone and followed it to about three episodes in to the deeply disappointing Capaldi, gave up completely after a couple of Chibnall and Jodie bore fests. Enjoyed the last three episodes very much and hoping for more of the same with Ncuti who looks like he may be fun (and let's hope he finds his trousers...).

Three proper Doctors in all that time, Tom Baker, Ecclestone and Tennant. Jodie could have been good but destroyed by the dire scriptwriting. None of the others really got it. YMMV of course!
