Doesn't seem harsh enough? They want to stop him appealing and getting less time, so it is left to the patrol board to ensure he's not let out like a certain Gary Glitter.

David Carrick, who used his position as a Metropolitan police officer to wage a 17-year campaign of terror and attacks against women, has been jailed for life.
The 48-year-old was sentenced to life and must serve a minimum term of 32 years minus the time he has spent in custody before he can even be considered for release.

I thought this was a thread about how to become a politician.

Excellent! I still won't sleep with you.Originally posted by agentzero View Post
It's almost impressive how you are unable to consistently be a nasty, self centred troll on this here forum. You see a police officer commit tens of rapes and sexual assaults and try to smudge the conversation towards diversity or some other usual alt right troll topic.
In the current project I'm on there were 3 types like you, wrong 'uns. The project is heading to completion now, but without them. 1 has stomach cancer, another just diagnosed with severe crohn's disease, and the third managed to get ran over when drunk after a night out. Have you had a health check recently? Could be some underlying disease that is messing with your brain or inducing feelings of anger and rage, manifesting in the usual ways.

Just imagine the conversations you could've had with your father - if you ever found out who he was.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? It would appear police watchdogs don't work, or certainly haven't recently.Originally posted by vetran View Post
No he pursued abusive behaviour because he could. He may have been a little tulip when he was a kid but blossomed as a copper -its not unknown to happen, a relative did just this. By policing behaviour you weed this bad behaviour out, the good ole boys style organisations just go corrupt.

I would suggest that Dave "the B&stard" got in because of the lack of "local knowledge" I doubt he suddenly became abusive because he became a copper.

It would appear that you believe everything you read in the newspaper. Good luck finding your father.Originally posted by WTFH View Post
Likewise, there are other ways of gaining knowledge, without clinging on to narrow minded lies that you refuse to question.
People looking for others to blame when they don’t get promoted in the police?

Ah, but that doesn’t fit your ingrained beliefs.

You’re the one saying the problem with the police is diversity and inclusion.
Yes, David Carrick definitely looks like he was chosen to tick all the right boxes.
But glad to see you were allowed to sit in when your dad was interviewed for the job.
Just imagine the conversations you could've had with your father - if you ever found out who he was.
