Batgirl was apparently ticking all the diversity boxes, Colour, bisexuality, transgender and of course animal play.

They're not even bothering to finish post-production. That's not uncommon for some indie projects (which often simply run out of money) but it's rare for a high profile studio movie to be canned so late in the day. That gives you some idea of how utterly terrible it must have been.

I wondered that but it seems the film isn't completely finished - they haven't done all the post-production FX and final CGI which must be a lot of cash. Apparently the pre-screenings include all the placeholder CGI which you sometimes see in deleted/additional scenes.

I suppose some of us have spent months or years of our working lives creating projects which are scrapped or shelved before they ever go live, certainly many of us spend our lives creating things hardly anyone will ever see

    started a topic I'm Batman

    I'm Batman

The new Batgirl movie has been scrapped by Warner Bros Discovery months before its planned release.

Reportedly budgeted at more than $70m (£58m), it was due to be shown in cinemas and on the streaming service HBO Max later this year.
