Four figure day rates are few and far between even in London/Finance - unless you have extremely specialised technical skills and/or have a quant background as well.

Four Figure Salary?

As soon as I sign up for a contract at what I thought was an OK rate, my inbox starts filling up with job adverts paying four figures per day. Doh!

Is this the going rate now for a programmer with no discernible talent? (Finance, London)
