She probably got £1 for that too ...

More interesting would be decision on costs - given that she won so little, basically nothing, I'd imagine she won't have much of her costs covered - that might teach her that British Law system isn't what they had in The Suits...

    For privacy invasion yep.

But copyright infringement is far more expensive.

Next time they will just quote bits out of it and show her signature to save money.

The Mail on Sunday will pay the Duchess of Sussex just £1 in damages for invading her privacy by publishing a private letter she had sent to her father.
The nominal sum is set out in court documents that also formally confirm that the newspaper – and its sister website MailOnline – has accepted defeat and will not be taking the long-running case to a supreme court appeal.

The outlet will also pay an unspecified sum for the separate case of infringing Meghan’s copyright by publishing large parts of the letter.

FFS some juror has now been saying he was sexually abused, and told the other jurors about it so there may be a mis-trial.

Not if she got written/video evidence, pretty clear that Epstein was holding up some cards for blackmail

Her immediate problem is how to survive in jail, ironically she probably ain't got tulip otherwise she would have done a deal already

    Guilty

    She will appeal.

British former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty in her Manhattan federal court trial.

Maxwell, 60, was arrested in July 2020, charged with involvement in ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of teenage girls, some as young as 14.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender and presumed billionaire, counted Prince Andrew and former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump as cronies before killing himself in a New York jail in 2019, about one month after his sex-trafficking arrest.

The verdict marks a dramatic conclusion to an unexpectedly fast-moving trial: proceedings were originally expected to take at least six weeks. Prosecutors called 24 witnesses over 10 days, and defense attorneys called nine witnesses over two days.

Prosecutors said that Maxwell “preyed on vulnerable young girls, manipulated them and served them up to be sexually abused” by Epstein. There were four accusers in this case: Jane, Kate and Carolyn, who did not use their full names, and Annie Farmer.
