    Very nice.

But we Timelords look down at you lot bumbling along in three dimensions at such lamentable speeds. Up here, the speed limit is hundred million years per hour. And that's only between the five centuries BCE and the 57th CE.

And we're probably looked down by these fellers.

We don't know for sure. They won't deign to talk to us beyond "squeak".

Mine reads consistently 10% over (if you believe those roadside speedo things that smile when you're not speeding), whether I've got summer or winter tyres on. All eight tyres are 215/65 R16.

random tit bit I picked up from my last speed awareness course. Spedometers must not under state their speed as very illegal to the point a car with summer tyres on will over state its speed by about 3 miles per hour. On the off chance you might fit winter tyres which are slightly wider and the spedo would then report a more accurate figure.

Probably it was something like 36 recorded, with 5 deducted to account for inaccuracies.

The police have 14 days to get the NIP out to the registered owner - which would be enterprise.
Enterprise are then obliged to tell the police about who was driving. I'm not sure what the time limit is for this. Whether they did or not? Who knows?

If they didn't then great, fine for them and I get off.

As I said, I only found out I'd got a ticket accidentally, and because I chased them about the £35. Point is they're fannying around....

If the police are on a zero tolerence exercise due to a high incident rate you are gonna get prosectuted for 2mph over, not 10%.

Relying on 10% and setting your speed accordingly is just pot luck.
