Believing you are being treated differently because of your skin colour is open to interpretation.
The missing bit is proof.

Perceiving you are treated differently due to your skin colour didn't used to be racism?

As racism has changed meaning from overt acts to perception of mistreatment based on your skin colour maybe both have evolved?
Woke in the UK has only really been common since the BLM farce so to me it means its current meaning of being excessively sensitive based on your perception of the way you or others are treated.

GB News will ultimately make money. It will produce a lot of online content which will draw in foreign views and foreign advertising. This whole thing is just performance, for the brands and for the channel.
I'm not a fan of news as entertainment but the argument that it's sinister because it will lose money is utter mince.

Got to love the message "our products are for everyone, so to support that we're not going to advertise them to people who might hold different views to us".
I don't believe most of these companies are left-wing/progressive/woke in the least anyway, it's just good PR to hate on the right. Kind of amusing that all these companies send the idea that the UK is progressive and left-wing, when we've voted in a Tory government 3 times in a row.

So far so good.
So what would a fooking foreign hedge funder is trying to achieve by "investing" into news channel that will never be profitable as a proper company?
