Brought up an "invalid url" thing after I posted about Terry Griffiths.
It posted ok.

I no longer get any "New Posts" when clicking the link next to "Private Messages". I'm logged in. For a while it worked occasionally, then it stopped altogether. Now I get a messge saying there are no results for my search.. If I go to each individual section, I can see posts that are new are highlighted.Last edited by hairymouse; 5 November 2024, 09:05.

Getting the invalid URL error when replying to a thread (I was quoting a previous post at the time). The post did save.

There is one more thing that might be related to it; it involves leaving long-lived stuff like the menu labels to be cached in the database and only using the main cache for other stuff. At least I think that's how it works. I'll check the vBulletin docs and try experimenting with it over the weekend

Seems to be something to do with the "rate this topic" "Filter" and search thingie that appears.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 31 October 2024, 22:45.

^^^^ Also, the second layer of menu items disappear randomly (New Posts etc.) and some context menus appear blank sometimes.
