Haven't finished all the episodes yet, but wow! Absolutely fantastic, but hard to watch.

After a 3+ hour bike ride I'm either numb or my packet has retreated back to a pre-pubescent time of my lifeOriginally posted by BrilloPad View PostIts a tri-suit. Elastane. Stretchy yet supportive.
I used to wear it under my wet suit. Then you just remove wet suit in transition and off you go.
Sorry my packet is not big enough for SE. It was a cold day. I had just been swimming. Errr - can anyone else give me the standard "excuses"?
Or maybe SE is a dirty girl with enormous appetites...

Gosh that was a great time to watch track and field regardless if you prefer men or women. They were all wearing lycra...

AwwwOriginally posted by Whorty View PostJust finished watching the series. Really enjoyed it so thanks for the recommendation, but feck that was hard to watch. Brought flashbacks to sitting with Mrs W for her last month whilst she was dying in bed.
, but I did warn you it was triggering!
They put a lot of effort into making it accurate. In fact in my opinion it is more documentary than drama. It's a documentary that uses drama to convey the emotions involved, the latter being essential to understanding the full story of what happened during those grim years of the AIDS crisis. A documentary and historical record.Originally posted by Whorty View PostIt was well filmed, and I assume very close to what happened/was happening at the time.
Glad you enjoyed it

Gratuitous slow-mo at about 2m25s if you don't want to hear all the reminiscing drivel

Part of the publicity pack I did for fund-raising. I think I got 31 CUK posters to donate! Top award goes to AtW who donated £2.56 to really annoy NAT!
