I don't need to be around people to think. I do find it much easier to allocate tasks, get feedback and share ideas though.
I'm sure I've been that person several times
Sorry to dissapoint you but no you haven't

Most gigs have had one day a week or more WFH over the last ten years, this is the first time it's been 100%.

I love it, no struggling to make small talk with office drones, no commute and top IT equipment in my home-office.

The only drawback has been having the kids off school and going mad at the same time. Four-year-old loves bombing the Video-calls but the team just take no notice, I'm just Mr. Dad to them.

I hope the whole industry goes like this but to be honest it only really makes sense if you contract so you can pay for the home-office equipment, software licences and sundries.

Ironically, my current contract was the first time I’ve had to go into the office 5 days a week for something like 12 years.

Now been WFH since March. Doubt I will return before my contract finishes.

As bored as I might get WFH, apparently w@nking in the office is frowned upon so it's probably best I stay at home to do it

Friend of mine has been working from home for years. Used to brag about it all the time; 2 years ago he got a kid and the wife stopped working. He's been wishing to have an office ever since and before the pandemic he also went to work from the public library a few times. He's not sending me bragging messages on whatsapp anymore.

I’m bored with the summer holidays, will be much better when there’s nobody loitering around in my house while I’m WFH.
