There may well be a systemic bias BUT let's recall A/A* grades increased about 50% comapred to 2019, and failures decreased about 90%, which is likely to overcompensate I would suggest.
Without an actual exam, parents are always going to complain their wonderful darling was 'cheated' out of what they deserved. But parents are horrendously biased... most likely those kids would've done as badly as their results suggest in the exams.
