looks like current client will do wfh as the standard with office only used as meetings hub in the initial stages of a project.

In our company it is now clear that the offices are effectively unusable for the forseeable future. Only 30% to 50% capacity available, so need to reserve before going in and all meetings to be held on-line as crowding round a screen isn't allowed. In some meeting rooms only one person allowed. Other than token visits, working in the office is evidently pointless.

don't miss globally distributed teams. PITA.
All my team live within an hour & half of me, we work in the same room normally. Most of us can pop down the pub together.
Much more civilised and no panicked calls when they c0ck it up in the middle of the night after I drew them pictures. They at least have the decency to do that in working hours.

That's what I was doing before covid: 2 days in/3 days home and I also thought it was perfect. I used to think that WFH 3 days / office 2 days was the ideal. But I'm going into the office after lunch today, which will be twice in a week (zero times last week or planned for next week) and it feels like a real chore.
