There is going to be a hell of a civil war now between those Labour MPS who are convinced, with some reason, that the left wing manifesto lost them the election, those that blame Corby and those that want to get back to centre-left Blairism. While I don't want Labour in power, it would be good to have a coherent opposition with someone with enough brains to challenge Bojo and moderate any more extremist right wing ideas. Can't see that happening in the next year or so
Bring back Alan Johnson, says I: only decent, honest and brave Labour MP for a long time.

Labour with about 50% female MPs according to a graph on the BBC, need to be seen to be modern in terms of equality (never been a female Labour leader only deputy?) if they're going to claw back any of the younger voters they thought they had on board at the last election.
