XJS prices are starting to head northwards. I've seen properly restored examples/nice examples go for £25K+. Rare ones (e.g. 3.6 Manual Cabrio) will soon be fetching 'collectors' money.
I do note that BMW E39 M5's are going for £50K+

It's the run of the mill stuff that becomes super rare. They made over 350,000 E series Vauxhalls between 1951-1957. There are less than 50 left (mainly rusted away).

(I learnt to drive in a '56 E series Velox)

Yes and yes one does in fact have chromed wire wheels. Can't beat a car that was developed to race at LeMans in '64 and '65

Austin Healeys have rocketed in price recently, especially the Healey 3000, which IMHO is better looking than the generally swooned over E-Type Jag.

You'll need to put the picture on the internet - you can't load photos on here off local drives.

    Nice.

I used to have a Cosworth Sapphire 4x4 when it was a couple of years old. Great cars. I thought I was doing well when I sold it for what I paid for it but the prices today are getting silly.

I went from a 350z to a Cayman S and must admit as good as it is I still miss my 350. I'll look at a 370z instead of a Cayman at the lights.
