Good job one didn't get out of bed bleary eyed and sit on the toilet for a pee. With ones hampton hanging down the gap, the python would have bitten on an extremely sensitive piece of real estate.
This story reminds me of the time I had a narrow escape from one of the worlds most venomous snakes. Went for me but my quick reactions got me out of the way and the snake ended up in the river.

At least you're more likely to spot a big snake than a small spider....Originally posted by SueEllen View PostA five-year-old boy was shocked to discover a python inside his toilet when he lifted up the lid.
Brit mum bitten by spider while sitting on the loo at home ends up on drip in hospital – needing TWO operations | The Sun
A MUM-of-four has revealed how she was hospitalised and endured TWO operations after being bitten by a garden spider.
Lauren Boddy, 27, from Reading, was sitting on the loo on May 11, 2017, when she spotted a red mark on her left leg.
“I thought it was just a spot. I gave it a little prod and squeeze, but thought nothing more of it,” she told The Sun Online.
But the next day, Lauren was in agony.*“I could barely put any weight on the leg,” she said.
“The spot got redder, bigger and looked like it was full of pus, but nothing would come out.
“It was really bizarre. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”
Lauren went to have it checked out at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
