    Not just here, they've been spamming forums (a lot of football ones) as well as comments on many news websites in order to 'bury' any bad news.

    Because using a claw hammer on your laptop only hurts yourself.

    Thankfully we are leaving the EU as otherwise the answer will be that things have to be deleted even if in the greater public interest...

    I'm currently dealing with GDPR with a German company - to say its an interesting discussion would be an understatement...
