Doesn't matter what passport he holds, as long as he is resident in India he can..
Shame he can't vote though - commonwealth citizens resident in the UK can vote but unfortunately India doesn't have a reciprocal arrangement

To give you an idea, when I hired a 4-bed unfurnished apartment in Calcutta in 1995 it cost £1400 per month!

Just show's you how unequal the world is. The average Indian has 1/20th the wealth of the average UK citizen.

It will be a long, long time before that gap is closed.

India got very high levels of protectionism, the wealth is also very much uneven, those who wanted to buy Range Rovers have already done so, more or less.

EU market is far more attractive as there are far more individuals to sell to.

They should put Michael Gove in charge and then all EU countries would be above the EU average.

Britain is the sixth least corrupt country in Europe, behind Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, it says. Eastern European countries are all above the EU average when it comes to levels of corruption and are ranked in the bottom half of a table of 28 member states.

most of the Rotary clubs round here have a heavy Sikh presence, my Sikh neighbour actually runs a charity helping people in the UK.

If we ever really need it I expect they will.

according to studies we have already.

Transparency International - The Global Anti-Corruption Coalition

Its endemic over there, here we rarely see it.

    Forbes Welcome

Poverty in the UK is nowhere near as widespread and despite the best efforts of the jobcentre very few people starve to death over here or lack access to clean water or medical care.

It's hard to see that we can give them an amount that realistically makes much difference. Like a mouse trying to help an elephant up the stairs.
