Poverty in the UK is nowhere near as widespread and despite the best efforts of the jobcentre very few people starve to death over here or lack access to clean water or medical care.

most of the Rotary clubs round here have a heavy Sikh presence, my Sikh neighbour actually runs a charity helping people in the UK.

India got very high levels of protectionism, the wealth is also very much uneven, those who wanted to buy Range Rovers have already done so, more or less.

EU market is far more attractive as there are far more individuals to sell to.

It is amazing really that a country with a population of 1.25B has only just drawn level with a country with a population of 65M.

Just show's you how unequal the world is. The average Indian has 1/20th the wealth of the average UK citizen.

It will be a long, long time before that gap is closed.
