It's like that misunderstanding that ended up with MF coming over a fellow passenger called Al Peculiar.

Would have been worse if they'd asked for any pilots.....Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostI flew to Barcelona today, and the announcement came over the tannoy, asking for any doctor, paramedic or nurse on the plane to make themselves known. A couple of nurses sitting next to me went down the plane to attend to the sick passenger. I noticed it was pretty close to where my colleague was sitting, 11 rows ahead, so I thought "he can tell me what it's all about later". Then I realised it was him that had been taken ill.
Jeesh, the steps people go to get out of going for a drink with me.
(He's fine, the paramedics who met the plane, by which time he was looking and feeling fine, didn't feel that an overnight stay in hospital or anything was necessary - but I should keep an eye on him. And the plane wasn't even delayed on turnaround. The cabin crew were amazingly kind, though one told me that when he fainted twice while they were talking to him, they were really worried).

Yeh, I mean, would he be any better drunk, although given the standards of his moderation he has to be pissed up 90% of the timeOriginally posted by vetran View PostCompletely understandable
Glad your colleague is OK.
