In my time at Barclays I identified 200 FTE that could be made redundant 3 other projects also identified 200 FTE. Everybody was happy 800FTE could go. Turned out we all identified the same 200.

Huge, bafflingly complex and semi-leaderless

never met anyone who really enjoyed IT from support monkeys to project IT managers .

I didn't enjoy it at all. Disorganised.
