MM seems to think we were earning £50/hr when houses were "cheap".

You silly people, starting at the bottom and working your way up over decades.
As Gen Y'ers we don't have to do that, this is the modern world and we expect tulip loads of cash and large houses as our birthright.
Hate you all,
Purple Gorilla.

A bit above you I would suspect, but the increase in your take home might mean you can join us property kings in 20 or 30 years time.

job of the day -Part Time Humans Wanted for Picking and Packing
Feked Classic Bike Parts - Wimborne BH21
£7.50 an hour - Part-time, Permanent
Anyone can apply, but positive hard working chirpy types who read all the way to the bottom of the page will only be considered.
No experience required, but must be prepared to turn up, work hard and not be a total ****.
We'll teach you what you need to know and to be on the safe side we'll even factor in you buggering something up... so no pressure.
We are very accommodating so by all means text your better half or even sneak out the back for a fag, the views are very nice… on a clear day you can even see the Isle of Wight. Not that we want to be awkward, but we also require a bit of commitment to the job and we do expect you to perform tasks to a half decent standard.
Here’s a clue to what we want:
Turning up is good, turning up late is not good.
A bit of team spirit and a sense of humour is good.
The ability to hit the right keys on a keyboard is good.
As strange as it may seem, a genuine desire to work is good.
If the above doesn’t sound totally ridiculous send us your CV and a half decent covering letter. We suggest you include a bit about your previous work experience and why you want to work for us. No, we are not interested in the weekend you spent in Skegness looking after your Aunties rabbit.
By the way the job is processing orders and packing motorcycle parts into boxes.
Also, please fire up your smart phone and do a bit of research, we are in the sticks… here’s another clue - Google is a clever bugger!
Duties will include:
Processing and packing orders for despatch
Keeping working areas clean and tidy
General duties
Hours: 9am to 1pm (or 1pm to 5pm) Tuesday to Friday
Location: Cranborne, BH21 5PW
Immediate start required
Permanent position - more hours possible if we reckon you’re good!
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £7.50 /hour
