    Take a cheapo GM platform renound for being tulipe (Vauxhall Vectra being one sad incarnation).
    Add complexity and **** about with it in Sweden, making it dynamically laughable and even more easily broken than a Vectra.
    Charge more than a Merc/BMW/Audi to idiots in the UK, with servicing and repair costs to match.

    Wait a while.
