    Have to do the occasional SQL update to a database. One of the fields is USER. The prefix in one of the main tables is AB.

    Update proddta.****** set abuser = 'MyAgent' where...etc

    let me explain.

    I use a lot of global variables on this gig and I need to know if I am in add or edit mode

    so I use gAdd , which is a Boolean

    after gAdd ing all morning I started to wonder if It's subconscious.

    What about you ? are you also a racist coder, do you send subliminal messages through your interface
    I'd be more worried about your obsesion with a convicted Peadophile.....

    As I have said on many occasions
    so long as the immigrants have the same values, I welcome them

    so I initialise all my variables to 0 , or '0'

    end of problem

    I remember, back in the day, a certain aircraft design had to have its acronyms 'cleaned up' .
    there were two many examples such as 'Weight On Ground Switch', 'Cockpit Line Interface Terminal'.

    What about those coders who have white text on a black background? They're forcing their white words onto the black masses.
