    The year is 2015 and yet...

    Our "houses" are getting smaller, our planes don't fly any faster than they did in the 1960's, "real" hoverboards haven't been invented, flying cars still don't practically exist, we're still working long hours, etc, etc.

    At least we are able to put millions of robots to work making cold calls to sell us stuff we don't need. Ah, the wonders of modern technology.

    Where was this £20/night aparthotel? Up here you can rent a rather nice 3/4-bed detached house with a large garden for that much, but location matters more.

    Looks reasonable to me. You'd be paying twice that in Central London for same. It's just a crash pad, ideal for a city contractor who's flying in for mon-wed nights, then flying back to his Mediterranean penthouse thu- sun.
