23 The Oberoi, Mauritius
Mrs Scooter and I stayed here on our honeymoon. More than a hotel really. You might have been in Mauritius but could have had a fish supper if you wanted.
I recall one evening a tutorial on astronomy, they had a large telescope set up on the beach with which we could see the andromeda galaxy.
That was years ago. Would not return to Mauritius. A bit chavy these days.
