Part of the reason sex education is taught in schools is it helps stop children being abused by adults so the results aren't a decade or more away.

Likewise financial education is often taught to teenagers who can work from the age of 16.

You still wouldn't see the results before cats stopped dying.

Is that really true about sex-ed though? I never heard that argument before. My sex-ed classes certainly didn't discuss abuse, is this a new (last 15 years) thing?

Surely this is exactly an MP's job. No doubt a citizen has approached their MP about tthis and the MP is now discussing it in parliament to see what can be done.

I would assume they will discuss proposed solutions such as adding summit to antifreeze that tastes nasty. There are better articles on the net.
