Depends where you live. On the narrow country roads round here, with villages that have parked cars, I'd say 99.999% of cyclists are a bloody nuisance. So many go in groups with little space between them and instead of needing a clear 8ft to overtake you need 30 ft or more. Have been stuck behind them on single track roads where one cannot overtake even if nothing is coming the other way.

Millions of them where I work (it's probably worse then Holland although admittedly I'm only 30 minutes from the border) but they are, in the majority, well behaved and are well catered for:
