Not enough time now to ratify any deal prior to 31st Dec, and Boris says no more extensions, so we'll have a 'freeze' of the current transition period for a couple more months until the 'deal' can be ratified It won't be an extension though ... honest

Indeed it will be called by some "a new trade deal" and by others "a betrayal". Those that call it a betrayal will say it's just temporary and set Boris a deadline, then a civil war will break out in the Tory party between the "permanenters" and the "temporaryeers". There will be late night sessions and drama in parliament that will extend until and beyond the next election as both sides fight it out. The tabloids will maintain their circulation.

There won't be any kind of deal, it was obvious from day one. If you exit a club you can't just rock up and try and get member privileges.

What they are currently engaged in is to make it appear that efforts were made to strike a deal. For the ERG, a no deal is the only outcome that is acceptable.

For all the people who push for no deal, there is nothing to lose and a lot to gain. A small group of selfish idiots are trying to ruin the livelihood of millions.

Indeed there will be one. If Boris heads off to Brussels it means he wants his Chamberlain moment.
Once the betrayal is signed and sealed, civil war will break out in the Tory Party and Nigel Farage will set up yet another new political party.

The outrage because the UK will be forced "at gun point" to follow EU rules and not least the appearance of huge EU factory trawlers in UK waters will provide fodder for tabloid newspapers for many years to come.
